Handcrafted ceramics made locally in the Bay of Plenty, NZ. Each piece Slab makes is irregular and unique, either built by hand or thrown on the wheel, textured with local sand or Taupo volcanic grit.
Monolithic has a glazed interior so it is watertight. The exterior is left raw. Local Papamoa sand creates a rough textured look on the outside complemented by a soft, smooth inside. Great as a sculptural piece on its own or with a dried or fresh flower arrangement.
